Launch Norton Security and click 'Settings' in the upper right corner.
A window with antivirus settings will open. In the left column, select the first option—'Antivirus'.
Go to the "Scans and Risks" tab. In the "Exclusions / Low Risks" section, select 'Items to Exclude from Scans'. Click 'Customize [+]'.
The "Real Time Exclusions" window will appear. Click 'Add Folders' in the lower left corner.
In the middle of the screen, you'll see an empty address bar. Click the folder icon to the right of it.
Specify the path to the folder where the game is installed (e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'OK'.
The path to the folder where the game is installed will appear in the address bar. Make sure the "Include subfolders" option is enabled and click 'OK'.
The game has been added to exclusions. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.
You have returned to the antivirus settings window. Now select 'Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection'. Click 'Customize [+]'.
The "Real Time Exclusions" window will appear. Click 'Add Folders' in the lower left corner.
In the middle of the screen, you'll see an empty address bar. Click the folder icon to the right of it.
Specify the path to the folder where the game is installed (e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'OK'.

The game has been added to exclusions. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'. You have successfully configured Norton Security.
How to add the game to firewall exclusions
To avoid problems when connecting to the servers, we recommend that you add the game files to Norton Security firewall exclusions.
Launch Norton Security and click 'Settings' in the upper right corner.
A window with antivirus settings will open. Select 'Firewall' in the left column.
Select the "Program Control" tab. Click 'Add' in the lower left corner.
Specify the path to the WorldOfTanks.exe file (it can be found in the folder with the installed game, e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'OK'.
On the right side of the window, click 'Settings' in the dropdown menu. Select 'Always Allow'.
WorldOfTanks.exe has been added to the exclusions list. Click 'Apply' at the bottom of the screen and then click 'Close'.
You have successfully configured Norton Security and its firewall.
