Clear the DNS cache
- Press the Win + R key combination.
- In the "Run" window, type cmd and click OK. The command line interface will open. Some commands require administrator rights to the operating system.
- Enter the following commands in the command line (press Enter after each subsequent command):
- ipconfig /flushdns
- ipconfig /registerdns
- netsh winsock reset
- Once the commands are executed successfully, reboot your PC.
Alternative method
- Download the archive.
- Unpack it into any folder on your PC and run it as administrator. (Right-click the file and select Run as administrator.)
- Reboot your PC.
If clearing the DNS does not resolve the issue, please contact your Internet Service Provider with a request to refresh the cache at their servers.
Temporary solution
As a temporary solution, you can set the Google public DNS server in your Network Settings.
For Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10
- Right-click the network connection icon in the taskbar notification area. Select Open Network & Internet settings from the context menu.
For Windows 11
- Сlick the network connection icon and select Network and Internet settings.
- Select Advanced network settings
- Select More network adapter options
The following instructions are common to all operating systems
- Right-click the network connection icon and select Properties from the context menu.
- In the Networking tab of the connection properties window, select Internet protocol version 4 and click Properties below.
- Note the DNS server address fields:
- If there are addresses entered in them, write them down in case you need to revert settings changes if Google DNS operates incorrectly or you need to change settings.
- If the Obtain DNS server address automatically setting is selected, switch it to the Use the following DNS server address setting below.
- Enter the numbers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in the fields below and click OK to confirm and complete changing settings to Google DNS.
